Calling All Everyday Heroes!
It’s that time of year again!First Choice for Women’s Walk for Life is one of our biggest fundraisers of the year, and all funds raised are used to help women and families right here in Delaware County. This year Everyday Heroes will “Talk the Talk and Walk the Walk – for LIFE! “I hope you will be joining us to raise support for this ministry at our 29th Annual Walk for Life event. Your work to secure financial support through Walk sponsorships is just as important to our ministry’s success as is the work of our volunteer counselors! This year, perhaps more than ever, we need a financially productive walk to enable us to minister the grace and truth of Christ to save and change lives in our community. The family friendly event will be held at Westminster Presbyterian Church on Saturday May 16th 2015. Registration begins at 8:30am with a FREE pancake breakfast from IHOP starting at 8:45am. AND we will have fun stuff for the kiddo’s; including, face painting, balloons and photo opportunities with our favorite Everyday Superheroes! We are especially excited to offer online registration with a customizable personal fundraising webpage for each walker! And, every walker that uses their webpage to raise and track donations online can earn a FREE 2015 Walk for Life t-shirt!We need you!We are requesting that you begin promoting our annual Walk for Life to all of the Everyday Heroes in your life. I cannot overemphasize how important you are to the financial success of our Walk, and thereby our ability to serve those who come to us in crisis each year.We really need a great Walk to help us as we prepare to become a medical facility and institute ultrasound testing at the Center.Additional information about the event, including manual and online registration, as well as downloadable documentation will be available at firstchoiceforwomen.org under the Events tab on April 10, 2015.I sincerely hope that you are able to participate in our Walk for Life fundraiser this year. REMEMBER; even if you cannot attend the Walk on May 16th, you can still be an Everyday Hero by raising support for First Choice for Women!
