The Client Connection

King David states in Psalm 139:16 “Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed.  And in Your book they all were written, the days fashioned for me, when as yet there were none of them.” The Bible is clear that God is not only the author and creator of life but also has a plan and purpose for each one of us. This unknown potential is the very mystery of life…only God knows. No matter the circumstances, God has a purpose for each baby conceived. At First Choice, we strive to share that truth with every client who walks through our doors.

Kathy₁ was in shock after her home pregnancy test showed a positive result. She came to First Choice to confirm the test and to receive an ultrasound. Already a single mom of a toddler, her situation was a difficult one. In addition to paternity concerns, Kathy had a health issue that could complicate the pregnancy. She felt that abortion was the solution – it would solve the problem for everyone involved.

As Kathy listened to the Options Counselor discuss the unknown potential of the life growing inside of her, she came to realize that abortion wasn’t the best choice. “I can’t do it,” she stated. “That’s not who I am as a person. It’s going to be hard, but I know First Choice will be here to help me.”

Thanks to your continued support, we WILL be there to help Kathy discover the abundant life God has planned for both her and her baby. She has begun parenting classes and is now excited about the pregnancy. “I feel like I can talk honestly with the staff at First Choice. They support me like family,” Kathy later noted.
