All About Abstinence

It seems unreal that we are already wrapping up another year in the Sexual Risk Avoidance (SRA) department!This semester has gone by about as smoothly as possible, with very few hiccups. In the 2014-2015 school year, we presented in 10 public schools to more than 2,400 students. The Lord has continued to bless our efforts, and our instructors have done a fantastic job of connecting with the students.As summer begins, we are already planning for the upcoming school year. Additionally, this summer we will be involved in a group home for boys, teaching a week-long abstinence program in 2-hour sessions daily.We are also continuing to pray that the Lord opens doors in local youth groups so that this important message may be presented to the teens in our community churches.We have seen God’s blessings in the area of volunteers, but we are still praying for more, and for a committed paid instructor, as well.Please pray that our influence continues to increase within our community through the teaching we provide and that the program is effectual and life-changing.Thank you for your support and prayers, and thank you for being a First Choice for Women hero!WANT TO HELP GUIDE OUR YOUTH?Volunteer to be an abstinence instructor and teach our local middle and high school students through our Creating Positive Relationships curriculum.Contact us today!KEITH WILLIS, ABSTINENCE DIRECTORabdirector@firstchoiceforwomen.org
