Volunteer Spotlight: Denetria Salyer

Denetria Salyer is one of First Choice’s youngest volunteers. She began volunteering with her former Girl Scout troop a few years ago.Denetria is so helpful, says Clinic Director, Leslie Hatcher. “She assists mostly with donation maintenance and the Parent Care store, but she’s also great with babies! I am very impressed with her dedication to volunteerism at such a young age. Her mother, BJ Wilson, agrees. “Denetria   looks forward to her weekly time spent at First Choice.  I'm proud of her enthusiasm and love for service work within God's Kingdom.  Volunteering here has provided a place for her to use her wonderful gifts and talents“.Denetria is a Yorktown High School student, and attends Destiny Christian Center International.   “I really love volunteering at First Choice, says Denetria. “They do a lot of great things for young girls in our community.”Thank you Denetria for your service to First Choice for Women!
