A Final Farewell and a Welcoming HelloDear Friends,As we end 2015 and begin 2016, I am amazed by all that God has done and continues to do through the ministry of First Choice for Women! We rejoice in the opportunities our staff and volunteers have had to build relationships, to teach prenatal and child development classes, to lead bible studies, to provide women with free digital ultrasounds, to provide crisis counseling, to deliver abstinence education in schools, to distribute diapers, cribs, and car seats; and best of all, to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. We rejoice in the decisions of expectant mothers who have rejected abortion, and have chosen life for their babies. We rejoice in the decisions of those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior! To God be the Glory!The Board of Directors looks forward to another exciting year in 2016. We continue to cultivate new recurring donors among individuals, churches, parishes, and partner organizations. We remain appreciative of ourcorporate sponsors who generously help us with our fall Annual Banquet and our spring Walk for Life campaign. And what would we do without our ministry partners who often lend their knowledge, skills, and services on critical projects?On behalf of the Board, we say, “Thank you!” Thank you for being generous with your time, with your financial gifts, and for your willingness to partner in prayer for this ministry.As I close, let me take a moment to congratulate Todd Lail, our incoming BoardChairman. In addition to Todd’s leadership, we are pleased that Funmi Olorunda will continue to serve as Vice-Chairperson of the Board, Reed Levitz will again serve as Treasurer, and Joe Blalock will serve as Board Secretary. Dr. Jeff Ulrich will continue to serve as both a Board member and as our Medical Director at First Choice. Board members Sari Harris and Diane Frye will continue theirservice on the Board and we welcome James Johnson to the First Choice Board in 2016.Finally, the Board would like to express our appreciation to Lisa Miller for her leadership as our Chief Executive Officer, to Leslie Hatcher, our Center Director, to Keith Willis who served as our Sexual Risk Avoidance (Abstinence) Director in 2015, and welcome Sharyll Martin to this role in 2016. Thank you to our support staff, interns, and volunteers. All of you represent the hands and feet of Christ to the women and babies served by First Choice.It has been an honor to serve of the board of First Choice for Women.With appreciation for each of you,Dr. Brad Oliver
