This wonderful group did everything from washing clothes and inventory, to stuffing envelopes and weeding our landscaping! What an AMAZING blessing to First Choice! Thank you! Thank You! Thank You! Local Churches Play a Key Role at First Choice

Like most ministries in the mission field, First Choice looks to our local churches for support. So far in 2016 we have received financial support from 23 area churches, with 11 of those being regular monthly donors, which provides about 15% of our annual income. I would like to take a moment to highlight a few of our supporting churches:

Westminster Presbyterian Church is, and has been, our largest financial supporter since as far back as our records go. In addition they have facilitated our annual Walk for Life since its inauguration, doing all the set up and clean up for the event really makes things easier for the staff and volunteers of First Choice!

Commonway Church, who is our second largest financial supporter/monthly donor, partnered with First Choice in March of 2013. Commonway’s small groups regularly assist with large mailings, sorting baby clothes and cleaning our building.

Union Chapel Ministries provided $20,000 in 2012 for the building remodel, specifically dedicated to enable FC to obtain ultrasound services. UCM continues to support First Choice on a monthly basis, and through its annual SERVE program we receive material items such as diapers, baby wash, baby shampoo and volunteer services! This year we received 2,079 diapers, 85 containers of wipes, and 131 bottles of baby wash/shampoo!

We are so grateful for the support of our churches, not only for their financial support, but for their prayers, the numerous volunteers they send our way, and most of all their stand for the sanctity of human life!

I cannot end this article without thanking Destiny Christian Center International, Calvary Christian Center, Glad Tidings Assembly of God, University Christian Church, Rejoice Ministry, Living Hope Christian Church, Halteman Village Baptist Church, and Northside Church of God.
